Security Leadership Without the Full-Time Overhead.

Silent3Cyber provides accountable, business-aligned cybersecurity leadership for organizations that need a clear strategy, stronger governance, and consistent executive reporting—without immediately hiring a full-time CISO. We work directly with leadership, internal IT teams, managed providers, and key vendors to move the security program forward.

What Your vCISO Program Can Include

Security strategy and prioritized program roadmap; governance calendar and recurring risk reviews; policy development and maintenance; leadership metrics, dashboards, and board-ready briefings; security budgeting and investment guidance; customer security questionnaire and due-diligence support; and coordination with IT providers, cloud partners, and key suppliers.

Core Deliverables

A documented security program charter, policy roadmap, maintained risk register, executive metrics dashboard, monthly program reporting, quarterly leadership priorities, and decision records aligned to the agreed engagement cadence.

Coverage and Response Commitments

Advisory access is provided Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding published Silent3Cyber holidays. Leadership meetings follow agreed recurring windows. Standard advisory requests receive a response within one business day; urgent business-hours requests are acknowledged within two business hours. Material risk or governance issues identified by Silent3Cyber are escalated the same business day. After-hours executive advisory is included only in an enhanced retainer or active incident-response engagement.

Reporting Cadence

Monthly program reports are targeted within five business days after month-end. Quarterly leadership briefings are targeted within 10 business days after quarter-end or delivered on the agreed governance calendar. Cadence, participants, and required formats are documented in the statement of work.

Supported Operating Environments

Vendor-neutral program leadership across internal IT teams, managed service providers, Microsoft 365 and cloud services, business applications, suppliers, remote operations, and regulated-data environments—subject to confirmed scope, access, licensing, and organizational fit.

Delivery and Qualification Standard

Each engagement has a named Silent3Cyber advisory lead, defined decision and escalation paths, secure information exchange, and documented quality review. Practitioner qualifications and program-leadership experience are matched to the engagement and confirmed in the statement of work before delivery begins.

What We Need From Your Organization

A named executive sponsor; recurring access to leadership; agreed decision authority; access to relevant risk, financial, contractual, and technology information; cooperation from internal teams and service providers; and a client owner for assigned actions.

Important Engagement Boundaries

Silent3Cyber advises and coordinates; client leadership retains executive, fiduciary, and risk-acceptance authority. The vCISO does not become the client’s legal officer, privacy officer, records custodian, or regulatory signatory unless a separate agreement expressly establishes that role. Legal opinions, breach-notification determinations, insurance decisions, and formal audit opinions remain with qualified counsel, insurers, or auditors. Client teams and vendors remain accountable for implementation unless Silent3Cyber implementation is included in scope.
